Plans for the
6th Global International Internship Congress in Monterrey, Mexico are moving forward. This is shaping up to be a great conference. Several exciting proposals have been submitted already. If interested please think about submitting your own proposal. For the call for papers go to
www.globaliic.org. The site of the conference will be the technologically advanced campus of the TEC de Monterrey from April 13 to 16, 2010. I hope you will be there.
The conference hotel this time is the elegant Hotel Gran Ancira which has given us a great room rate. This hotel is in the very heart of Monterrey and conveniently located to the Macroplaza, Barrio Antiquo (old town), four great museums, Pasa Morelos pedestrian mall, lots of restaurants and the riverwalk. The special room rate for the conference that includes a light breakfast and transportation to and from the TEC campus each day.
We now have a new website address and you can check the for details of the conference at
www.globaliic.org You can register on line, get information about submitting a presentation proposal, find hotel information and more. The website is always a work in progress, right up until the conference so bookmark it and check it often. To register on line you first complete the information form and submit that. This will take you to a payment page where you will view the viewing options. From there a link will take you to PayPal so you can pay on line securely.
The conference registration as always provides great value and includes an opening reception on April 13, two luncheons and a closing dinner. We also plan to make site visits to local internship sites in Monterrey and some cultural experiences that will be very enjoyable.
