Guest wrote:pls help me on this topic Hi there, Couple of things I'd advise. You need to be more specific about your interests are. It is difficult to give you a meaningful response with the title you present. What aspect of women entrepreneurs in India interests you? A comparison with men entrepreneurs? A comparison with women entrepreneurs elsewhere? Their backgrounds, training, industries? Second, I suggest you join MyNetResearch and use our Literature Search tools to acquire some meaningful literature on the subject and find individuals who have that as a research interest. One more piece of advice for you. There are 2 possible ways you can conduct a study in this area. One way is to do primary data collection for women entrepreneurs in India (and overseas if a cross-country study). This is the expensive way. It will be a lot cheaper if you use an online survey tool, such as the one in MyNetResearch, but you'll have problems finding the emails for an audience, many of whom may not have, or use their email.
The next approach is to use secondary data from a 3rd party, such as the UN, i.e., UNDP. The aim is to collect data from various sources as to women entrepreneurs and analyze the data in a novel way. One method I have found helpful is to perhaps find other indices, perhaps relating to relative poverty of women, female/male literacy ratios, or equality in the court systems and regress that against the relative equality in business and entrepreneurship.
I hope that is helpful.
