Watch this video about the fame and fortune available to tutors in South Korea. Some are millionaires and make more than highly paid sports stars. Could this ever be possible in the United States?

LOL!! I had to laugh - that is a sad commentary on the US educational system, isn't it? Our heroes in the US are playing football, running, singing, rapping, acting or dancing. In South Korea, teachers are lionized! What's wrong with this picture and what does that tell you about the direction the US is headed?

Not in our lifetime...altough I must say that You-tube has brought some celebrity status. Although I must admit I like the idea of a reality show...Learning with the Academics or So you think you can teach?
